The short version
I started in Pune with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Java internship, then spent two and a half years at Atos Syntel as a quality assurance engineer, building automated test suites that removed 80% of manual checks.
In 2021 I started a Master's in Computer Science at NJIT and finished with a 3.89 GPA. Along the way I worked as a graduate research assistant on NLP research that became a peer-reviewed paper, earned a Cornell Tech certificate in Machine Learning Foundations, and built a fuzzy-matching search API as a backend intern at Octane.
Since 2022 I've been at Barclays Investment Bank, building the systems behind fixed income electronic trading: a Java RFQ engine with sub-millisecond per-message latency, live diagnostics that find issues in under a minute, and a CI/CD pipeline that made deployments 5× faster. I was promoted to AVP in March 2026.
Alongside that, I build Python tools for backtesting, market microstructure and fixed income analytics, and I explore how LLMs can help with research.
